Offshore Project Manager

Job Description:

-To coordinate for ongoing offshore projects with the representatives from owners, shipyards, designers, contractors and subcontractors for classification or certification service during the contracts execution period. Monitor project progress against master schedule and prepare project status reports.

-To liaise with BV global offices for the execution of specific offshore projects.

-To work out project plans and procedures and make sure they are properly executed.

-To be familiar with BV marine and offshore rules, regulations, related documents and make sure the execution compliance by the project management members.

-Collect and prepare support documents for change orders and to discuss or assist Senior Contract Manager to discuss with clients for the finalization of the commercial documents for Change orders. 

-To assist Technical Assistant for issuance of commercial invoice and timely collection of payment.

-Maintain and develop relationships with the key offshore clients such as owners, shipyards and design companies.

-Carry out regular or casual inspections on ongoing projects, organize or attend regular or coordination meetings with clients.

-To coordinate and liaise with internal departments BV China for resources allocation and smooth implementation of contracts execution.

-To carry out site survey per the instruction from Department Manager.

-To work as KAMs for target clients and keep regular visits and communications for potential project opportunities per established CSM.

-Other jobs occasionally assigned or designated by Project Manager and/or Department Manager.

-Comply with the requirements of the HSE management system.

Qualifications:

1.10+ relevant working experience

2. can use industry structure software such as SACS and ANSYS

3.familiar with API and other industry standards

4. communicate in English

5. based in Shanghai

6.good communication skills
