Established in 1995, Chongqing Cummins, a Sino-American joint venture, is the initiative step of localized manufacturing of Cummins and its first engine joint venture in China. Chongqing Cummins is also the key subsidiary of its Chinese parent company——Chongqing Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd. Located in Liang jiang New Area, Chongqing, the company covers an area of 400 mu (approximately 66 acres), built in accordance with Cummins’ global advanced standards, with industry-leading equipment and software support, integrating innovative technology center, intelligent manufacturing system and efficient logistics system.
