Responsibility:
1. Be responsible for the management and training of warehouse personnel, including formulating targeted training plans, clarifying job responsibilities, supervising work progress, and ensuring that all warehousing tasks are completed on schedule with high quality.
2. Assist the department manager in establishing and improving a sound warehousing work system and standardized processes, with the ability to optimize existing management models and ensure the efficiency and compliance of warehousing operations.
3. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, procurement engineers, logistics engineers, freight forwarders, warehouse teams, truck drivers, and consignees.
4. Proactively coordinate and apply for necessary equipment (e.g., cranes, forklifts) for loading and unloading operations.
5. Notify consignees promptly upon arrival of goods.
6. Perform data entry, updates, and regular filing in the relevant systems.
7. Prepare and maintain operational reports, including but not limited to: Arrival lists; Heat/batch certification tracking records; Material inspection records; Unpacking inspection reports; Material issuance notes; Inventory records; Warehouse equipment checklists.
8. Schedule and coordinate truck drivers for pickups and deliveries.
9. Conduct visual inspections of incoming goods with QA/QC and relevant stakeholders.
10. Assist in periodic stocktaking to ensure alignment between physical stock and system records.
11. Other tasks assigned by the supervisor / manager / leadership.
Requirements:
1. Logistics, supply chain management and related majors, with a bachelor's degree or above.
2. More than 10 years of experience in logistics-related fields, with at least 3 years of experience as a warehouse coordinator or similar position and managing a team of no less than 3 people.
3. Have a good understanding of the basic principles and practices of logistics management, and be capable of establishing a logistics system.
4. Having a professional certification in supply chain management (CSCP) or in logistics transportation and distribution (CLTD), or other qualifications related to logistics or customs affairs.
5. Be proficient in using office software such as MS Office.
6. Good written and spoken English, French is a plus but not mandatory.
