What will you be doing:

-Perform field service/commissioning assignments as required for Propulsion products 

 -Prepare Field Service/commissioning reports as needed according to wartsila standards.

 -Take notes during Service/commissioning jobs as needed to aid in report preparation

 -Use & maintain tools in accordance with good work practices

 -Maintain current individual time sheets & expense records to support the timely invoicing of jobs to customers

 -To maintain a professional appearance & conduct

 -To maintain the quality & efficiency of mechanical/electrical work performed (as measured by

 Warranty costs), & in accordance with manufacturers specifications & ISO procedures

 -Accurate & timely care of Wartsila specialty tools (field & shop) used to perform service work

 -Ensure customer satisfaction with job performance & through positive interactions

 With customers

 -Conform with & abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures & instructions

 -Conform to all safety rules & use of all appropriate safety equipment

 -Perform other duties as required

You will shine in this role when you have

 -Be able to communication in English both oral and written.

 -Team work ability

 -Basic safety knowledge.

 -Willing to travel inside China frequently and outside of China if necessary.

 -Be able to handle pressure and make decision independently when required.

Education:

 -BSc of Marine engineering, mechanical, electrical or equivalent.

 Experience:

 -3 years work experience in marine industries or other heavy industries, field service or shipyard would be preferred.

- Experience in commissioning.

- Experience with programmable logic controllers.

 -Propulsion experiences will be a plus.
