Job Description:

1. Execution of ship in service surveys, SEEMP review, DCS annual data review and assessment of BV service suppliers  as directed by the Operational Manager on the job assignment and in compliance with BV M&O procedures and quality objectives and KPIs.

2. Follow up and implementation of Marine&Offshore procedures, instructions and technical working instructions issued by BV China M&O and BV M&O Head Office 

3. Application of BV China M&O and BV M&O HO procedures for personal safety and general Health and Safey and Environmental protection

4. Follow up and implementation of trainings and examinations for certification and qualification process as defined in BV M&O and BV China M&O procedures and policies

5. After completion of the surveys/audits draw up and send relevant reports to the SSQM, in compliance with the BV M&O procedures

6. Ensure the quality of the services complying with BV M&O quality system and provide information and support necessary to managers

7. Take technical decisions on board, within the limitations of Surveyor responsibilities and to be supported by his manager.

Requirement:

1. Education and graduation for Marine Engineer from Maritime University 

2.  Education and graduation from Technical Univeristy for Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering and or Mechanical Engineering

3.  Min. 8 years experience on sailing on the ships as Engineer Officer or experience at the Shipyards

4.  Fluent in Chinese and advanced level in English (reading, speaking and writing)
