Job description
DNV Maritime Region Greater China is looking for a Project Manager Approval (PMA) to join the Pre-contract & PMA Section at Technical Centre China (TCC) in Shanghai. The section is based in DNV’s Shanghai office and is responsible for project management related to plan approval in Maritime Region Greater China.
Responsibilities
SupportPre-contract and sales activities, including approval quotation andtechnical clarification.
Ensurethat the project process for plan approval, including control, initiation,planning, execution and close-out, is managed in accordance with the contract.
Manageand coordinate internal work orders between the newbuilding region andglobal approval centers.
Communicateproactively with DNV project teams and external customers on project risks,status and progress to ensure alignment with expectations and deliverables.
Identify and proposeimprovement opportunities where relevant and escalate critical issues tothe project sponsor as appropriate.
Apply approved AI tools responsibly to enhance project management and and communication efficiency, while ensuring compliance with DNV policies and data confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Universitydegree from a recognized university, such as Naval Architecture or MarineEngineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevantexperience in the maritime industry.
Customer-oriented,with a good understanding of ship classification.
Positive,proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Good English communicationskills, both written and spoken.
Willingness and flexibility totravel when required.
